Ikechukwu Charles Okoli graduated with BSc. in Economics the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria and a MSc. in Economics from the University of Bayreuth, Germany with a focus on governance and model theory. He had earlier worked at a United Kingdom Department for International Development (UK-DFID) programme on governance reform in Nigeria. Since summer 2018, he is working as a Ph.D. student at the Project CLAIM at the institute for Regional Science, Environmental and Resource Economics at the University of Kiel. He is enrolled in the graduate school "quantitative economics". His research interests lie in environmental economics, as well as in institutions and development. He is an alumni of the Advanced Study Programme of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, Kiel.
