Dr. Jürgen Meyerhoff

Dr. Jürgen Meyerhoff has been a research associate at the Institute for Environmental, Resource and Regional Economics since January 2019 (in addition to a position at the Department of Landscape Economics at the TU Berlin). He studied economics at the University of Kassel and the Freie Universität Berlin. Between 1994 and 1997 he worked at the Institute for Ecological Economy Research gGmbH before moving to the TU (then Professor Hartje). His work focuses on stated preference methods, which he has applied in various research projects, for example as part of the BMBF funding initiatives "Sustainability and Economics" and "Economics of Climate Change". Today, his research focuses on choice experiments and their validity and reliability. Since 2017 he has been Associate Editor at the Journal of Choice Modelling.
